I think my suggestions from week three would be an effective way to enhance that learning experience. I think it would be effective because it is similar in theory to the educational game we played earlier in the semester. One change to the game that could be beneficial is adding a market or some sort of purchasing system. This would cause the loss of currency to be even more noticeable if there was a goal to buy certain items while students were constantly impeded because of the redistribution. I thought of this just by brainstorming what would make redistribution more impactful for students other than “aw man I don’t have as much money” and by adding a purchasing system it is even more of a “tangible” loss. I think the initial idea is still good, but adding a market of some sort could further increase the impact that redistribution would have.
